according the wikipedia, Business cards are cards bearing business information about a company or individual. They are shared during formal introductions as a convenience and a memory aid. A business card typically includes the giver’s name, company affiliation (usually with a logo) and contact information such as street addresses, telephone number(s), fax number, e-mail addresses and website. It can also include telex, bank account, tax code. Traditionally many cards were simple black text on white stock.

Today a professional business card will sometimes include one or more aspects of striking visual design. After a quite long hunting at the Internet, i made a compilation of 100 unique, cool and creative business card (from my perspective of course…). i divide them in two part posts (50-50). I’m sorry if i take some people older posts, but i think this design is cool enough to see it twice (hehehe…). So, check it out  Guys…

What do you mean ? slow down guys, what I mean is the news is got an  article about the Madame Tussauds Museum.

As you all know, Madame Tussauds is a famous wax figures sculptor that open a lot Museum in many country and big city. This is the 13^th figures of Michael Jackson created at the Museum. Sculptors at the wax museum started working on the figure four months ago. They had intended to display it this month, to coincide with the start of Jackson’s “This is It” comeback tour in London. The London museum has two other Jackson waxworks — one in a pose from “Thriller” and another from his “Dangerous” album. The other 10 Jackson waxworks are in other Madame Tussauds museums around the world.

Madame Tussauds Wax Museums across the globe will pay homage to late music icon Michael Jackson on the first anniversary of his death by hosting a special tribute exhibit of all wax statues of the “Thriller” hitmaker at its nine international locations — from Shanghai to New York.

The museum said it decided to proceed with the figure after Jackson’s death last month “as a tribute to one of the greatest musicians of all time and to celebrate his amazing 40-year career.”

“With a medley of Jackson’s signature songs wafting through Madame Tussauds’ lobby, fans will be able to pay their respects, take photos with his wax likeness and lay flowers at his feet. The tribute exhibit will also include a variety of classic MJ photos and memorabilia …”

Talk about Multimedia files, we might be imagine a Songs or a movie we really want to watch. But sometime we can find a right application to open it (I’m talking about Macs). Lets try to make a list a Multimedia type that use to share or sell by all the PC users. MPEG, MP4, AVI, VID, FLV, DVS, WMV, FLC, SWF, 3GP, Xvid and more out there.

Complementing QuickTime

The problem is if every file type need a special or specific player because the file type owner refuse (sometime) to share their source code or because the other competitor refuse to support the file type. Often or not, this kind a thing sometime bugging our life.

To Mac users (and Windows) can relieve that they still got QuickTime, one of the best Multimedia player that can play lots of type. But sometime this kind of application got problem with some file type. That’s Mac need a little help, so every Mac can get more information about how to play a different and unsupported file type. Lets meet our QuickTime buddy.

PERIAN

This application have a Swiss knife icon, maybe because it can play and use a lot like the knife. This application will help the QuickTime to play a lot more different video, audio and picture format that use to not capable by the QuickTime like AVI, DIVX, FLV, MKV, GVI, VP6, VFW, MS-MPEG4 v1 & v2, DivX, 3ivx, H.264, FSV1, H263i, VP3, HuffYUV, FFVHuff, MPEG1 & MPEG2 Video, Windows Media Audio v1 & v2 and also a lot of file type you can see at their site (pretty long list huh…).

Flip4Mac

As you can see at the Perian (long list file type) they have a lot of stuff. But between those stuff you even got things incompatible with it. Let say a WMV (video) and WMA (audio) from the Microsoft. So how you can watch it ?

According the Microsoft site, a recommended plugin for QuickTime to play format are Flip4Mac from Telestream. And you can download and use it for free. With this two little plugin, we can say that our QuickTime is a (almost) perfect Multimedia Player.

VLC – The Alternative

Even the process of making the perfect QuickTime isn’t too hard, but there is an alternative way to use another application to support our track. Video Lan Client (more known as VLC) is a free open source application that also have other Operating System version (Windows, Linux etc) and of course Mac.

As a free application VLC have an ability than represent a lot of people tracks. Including the ability to be a server to play Multimedia file in a Network.

Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) actually can be use at any windows base Operating System, Starting from XP until Vista. But as a standard browser (default) at Windows 7, IE8 is really got the optimum level at Windows 7. When I tried at my friends PC (Notebook installed with Windows 7) a lot of new features packs in this browser, even when you compare it with the version at the XP and Vista.

Tab Feature

Most significant think that change is the tab feature. If you open a couple tab within same domain, IE will colorize the new tab in the same color. So when we open a new tab to view another domain, the new tab will changes it color. This difference make us easier to group a sites from a lot of opening tab.

When you got a lot of tab open, it might be difficult to find which tab that contain the information you looking for. Not a problem in IE8, just click the IE icon at the taskbar. Aero Peek will show a preview from all open tabs. Just move your mouse to the preview to look the real content. If that is not the tab, just slide to another preview icon.

InPrivate Browsing

For you who looks often “cleans up” your track from Temporary internet files, history, cookie etc. after browsing. IE8 got InPrivate Browsing. You can access this feature by simply right click at the IE on your taskbar. so you don’t have to worry about your “crumble” after browsing. To keep your private information while you browsing, you got InPrivate Filtering. This feature makes the user control which information tha can or can not be spread to the Internet. If you don’t want to be busy setting things up, just choose the “Automatically Block” feature. This feature use to block automatically the information might be spread to the third party.

Web Slice

This facility use  to  control your bandwidth. Like when you open a site that contain multi and many information, You just like one information between all information that shown. With the Web slice, you can “slice” the contain of the site. So you don’t have to wait the “loading page” to be complete, because only the information you need will be view.

Compatibility View

When you’re browsing with the IE8, sometimes you may find a page looks unstructured and misallocation. Well, use the Compatibility view feature, this facility will emulate the site like running in the previous version IE. So, all site pages can be look beautiful at the IE8, this feature just like the “XP-mode” for IE.

You can try it by making exhaust fan through the wall and create a ventilate above the garage. Schedule yourself to clean up the floor with mop, broom or vacuum cleaner frequently, using a floor mat also a good option and simple.

Sort your stuff

sort and list your garage at least every 3 month a time. If you find something that not important at your garage more than a year, its time for you to throw it. If it still work properly maybe you can give it to someone that might be need it. But if you still need it, just put it in a big box and set it in a fine place at your garage.

Put it in the right place and the right function

Put your tools at their own place/box. If it necessary, you can make/buy a drawer or a cabinet that you can place it hang or mount in the wall, just make sure you estimate with your car before you decide it. You can group your small tools in a small plastic compartment, put a label on it so you can recognize easily and make sure its easy to find when you need it. For a sharp tools, just make sure the kids can reach it, or put it in the cabinet with a key, just make sure you put it safely for your family.

Well maybe this can get things on the right track. This application called 7-Zip, this application is a high compression tools to compress file. Lots a major file compression type known by this application. But the most important thing is a Freeware/open source, mean you don’t have to pay to use it (Nice huh..).
