Efficient Garage

Nowadays garages been a part in every house we see. It can make our car safely and also protect it from the weather outside. Even in this place, the owner do the activity to maintenance and fixing the favorite car.

The ideal thing of a garages is be a proper place or room for your car. But sometime we got another problem, because the size limit along with more stuff  add in the house, the garage become your second storage place. You can imagine the look of your garages now ? all the tools and your furniture’s are spreading around the corner. Not counting the smell from the stuff that put inside it.

For that very reason you might have to spend a “special time” to start cleaning and maintenance the garages to be a proper and efficient place. Here is some tips might work :

Clean up the dust and the air

You can try it by making exhaust fan through the wall and create a ventilate above the garage. Schedule yourself to clean up the floor with mop, broom or vacuum cleaner frequently, using a floor mat also a good option and simple.

Sort your stuff

sort and list your garage at least every 3 month a time. If you find something that not important at your garage more than a year, its time for you to throw it. If it still work properly maybe you can give it to someone that might be need it. But if you still need it, just put it in a big box and set it in a fine place at your garage.

Put it in the right place and the right function

Put your tools at their own place/box. If it necessary, you can make/buy a drawer or a cabinet that you can place it hang or mount in the wall, just make sure you estimate with your car before you decide it. You can group your small tools in a small plastic compartment, put a label on it so you can recognize easily and make sure its easy to find when you need it. For a sharp tools, just make sure the kids can reach it, or put it in the cabinet with a key, just make sure you put it safely for your family.
